About Arthur Henry
Arthur Henry is a seasoned Registered Psychotherapist and Canadian Certified Counsellor, bringing a wealth of experience from his distinguished 36-year career in the Royal Canadian Air Force. His service spanned diverse cultures across Canada, the United States, Australia, Europe, and the Middle East.
In roles such as air liaison officer to the Canadian Army and later the Royal Canadian Navy, Arthur gained invaluable insights into the distinct cultures of the three services. His work emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in joint operations, further deepening his understanding of the challenges faced by those in high-stress roles.
Arthur’s studies at Saint Paul University and his international military experience enriched his understanding of diverse cultural and faith traditions. This multi-faith perspective allows him to work effectively with clients from a variety of spiritual backgrounds, fostering a respectful and inclusive environment for healing.
Arthur specializes in EMDR Therapy, PTSD treatment, chronic pain management, and post-traumatic growth. His extensive military background uniquely equips him to connect with first responders, military personnel, and others facing the lasting impacts of trauma.
